It's 1 October - the start of a brand new quarter-year which means there's a new Win-a-Samsung-Phone-per-quarter competition starting today!

As with the previous competition, the Samsung Blog would like you to be an active member of the Blog for a chance to win a Samsung phone! The last guy won an awesome Samsung Soul.

We track your blog activity through a Samsung Points system. Samsung Points are awarded for blogging about Samsung Mobile and general mobile technology, commenting on blog posts, and writing phone reviews.

The target this quarter is 1000 points. The first Samsung Blog member to reach this target wins the prize. All Samsung Points are moderated so only the good stuff gets awarded full points.

Here's a breakdown of what how user points are allocated:

• Signing up - 10 pts
• Writing a blog post - 10 points
• Uploading an image - 5 pts
• Writing a phone review - 15 pts
• Commenting - 5 pts

Remember that you must sign up to the Samsung Blog to take part if you haven't already.

The Samsung Blog reserves the right to revoke a member's user points should the content be deemed irrelevant, inflammatory, or otherwise considered unacceptable by Samsung Blog moderators. By your participating on the Samsung Blog you are automatically agreeing to this condition.
