Samsung Mobile Blogger Competition and charity giveaway

Hi Guys

As you all know the Samsung Blogger competition came to an end recently. A BIG congratulations to Tertia for winning the competition and getting to keep the Samsung F300. I thoroughly enjoyed your posts and looked forward to them each week. I would like to thank Tertia, Rafiq, Deshanta and Nico for all their great posts.

I think it would be a good idea if we could all have a lunch sometime so I will be setting this up shortly. I enjoyed getting your opinions on the Samsung phones as well as your insight on using the handsets.

Samsung has decided to run a charity poll in the next couple of weeks where we will give away 2 of the phones (Samsung E250 and i600 Blackjack) used in this competition to a charity. Keep watching the Samsung Blog for details of the charity giveaway.

Rafiq, I liked your article about donating your phone to Joachim, the lad you met at TED Global, and think this would be a great idea. If you can get me his address and contact details, I will courier the Samsung D900 phone you were testing out to him.

Congrats to Tertia and thank you Samsung for letting me participate in a great competition. I'd like to suggest that the phones be rewarded to a charity so they can be used for phone-athons or other similar interactive media initiatives.

I'd like the phones to go to the Alexandra Children's home, which not only looks after AIDS orphans but children with mental and physical disabilities too.

Haven't had a chance to say a big thank you for being part of this exciting project. It was fun putting the phone through its paces and it will be a very sad day when it goes back. However, I think your idea of giving the phones away to a charity is awesome. So many charities are dependant on proper communication infrastructure and Samsung does provide that. Whichever charity gets the i600 will definitely benefit from the ease of use and the high speed data connection for those important emails and internet.

It was loads of fun and a great honour.

I did not realise there were so many fake Bluetooth Headsets, in particular the popular Samsng WEP200. I recently bought one online over lelong, and I might as well help you learn from my mistakes. I will take more pictures to help you identify them. On the outside everything looks just like the Samsung WEP 200 but it is the quality that is very telling.

Thanks for the great blog related to mobile industry and samsung phones. I am actually a huge fan of Samsung mobile phones so it is interesting to find here some original ideas. What's more I am a mobile application developer by myself so it is interesting to read the priorities of Samsung users. Thanks one more time for your efforts.
